Kommentar/Beschreibung

This subject-related module allows second-year GCSC and IPP members of FB05 to reflect on their first years and plan the PhD journey that still lies ahead. Tips and exercises are designed to help participants successfully make significant strides in their research and writing. The course will cover topics related to both the conditions and emotions surrounding their work and the contents and structures of their dissertations, such as:
o Managing time and tracking progress
o Staying motivated and avoiding burnout
o Narrowing the project’s scope
o Structuring writing
o Dissertation introductions

Registered participants should submit their working titles and tables of contents to Elizabeth Kovach no later than one week before the course.

The course will take place as a hybrid event, with the possibility of in-person and online participation.
